I hit the "ceiling" at 30. I left it ALL. There had to be more to life than a paycheck. There had to be a way to find myself within a community. With a vision emerging, I sent out some invitations to connect. That simple invite to a brunch table began a movement.
The Gals That Brunch community that was born that day has now turned into one of the fastest growing grassroots women’s organizations to date, quickly growing to over 50,000+ women in 110 cities around the world. We are known for "Setting to the table to empower women and create spaces for community." And we’re just at the beginning.
I know first hand the term "it takes a village" and I have dedicated my life to creating family and community - just as so many have done for me. From the age of 8, I sat at a cash register in my grandmother’s boutique learning the ins and outs of the entrepreneurial journey. Driven by the quest for security, I spent my 20’s working 60+ hour weeks climbing the corporate ladder. Promoting quickly through the ranks and cross-country relocations - I realized my innate ability to find breakthroughs in leading and optimizing team performances. I was asked to implement my skills and strategies with teams on campuses across the country.
I’ve pioneered start ups, ministries, and schools. My award-winning retention solutions and strategies in student services, career placement, and curated customer experiences have maximized the people and process within their fields for over a decade.
